Overview​

This document will capture the core requirements as a list of functions and features that need to be completed. The command center, a new name needs to be thought of, will serve as the avenue for each product to share data. It will also tie into Keystone for subscription and product entitlement. Think of command center as the backbone for the entire Traxs One Operating System.

Subscription and Product Entitlement​

Requirements that are needed for the subscription and product entitlement

Subscriptions

  • Have knowledge of what subscriptions are available
  • Store what the current subscription is for a particular tenant
  • Enable tenant to upgrade or downgrade subscription
  • Capture date tenant subscribed
  • Capture date tenant changed subscription level
  • Capture any added technicians/threshold users that a tenant has added
  • Capture current subscription amount per tenant
  • Captures any discount tenant is provided

Product Entitlements

  • Knows what products are available
  • Captures which products a particular tenant has subscribed to.
  • Provides product switching
  • Captures any paid modules tenant has purchased

Shared Data Backbone​

Requirements for sharing data between products. The sharing of data should be a 2-way street thus enabling the tenant and their users the relevant data within the product they use.

The shared data api will have to know about the tenants subscription and product entitlements to ensure that only the tenants that subscribe to more than one product and which products that are entitled to can pull data from other products
