This page covers all physical and digital marketing materials — what exists, what is in progress, brand application rules, and guidelines for creating new materials.

Marketing Card Campaign

Robin is currently creating a physical marketing card to send to local trades businesses. This is RoundTrip's first direct outreach campaign.

Purpose

Introduce RoundTrip to local HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other trades businesses in the Zanesville/Central Ohio area. Plant the seed for when they are ready to look at software.

Card Content Guidelines

Front:

  • RoundTrip logo (primary variant — Blue on white or gradient background)
  • Primary tagline: "Field service, fully managed — from call to close."
  • One strong visual or icon representing dispatch/field operations
  • Website URL: roundtrips.app

Back:

  • 3 core benefits — keep them punchy, one line each:
    • "Real-time dispatch — know where every tech is, right now."
    • "Invoice at the job site — get paid faster."
    • "Parts tracking — nothing used goes unbilled."
  • QR code linking to roundtrips.app
  • Contact information: hello@traxsgroup.com or Robin's direct contact
  • "Try free" or "See it in action" call to action

Brand Application Rules for Print

Colors:

  • Primary background: White (#F4F7FA) or Navy (#0F2D44)
  • Primary text on white: Slate (#2C3E50)
  • Primary text on navy: White
  • Accent: Blue (#1D6FA4) for headlines, CTAs, and key words
  • Never use Sky (#7EC8E3) as a background color — logo accent only

Typography for print:

  • Headlines: DM Sans 700
  • Body: Inter 400
  • Do not use Barlow Condensed outside the wordmark
  • Minimum body text size: 9pt for print

Logo usage:

  • Maintain clear space equal to the height of the icon on all sides
  • Use the primary (Blue on white) or dark (White on Navy) variant depending on background
  • Never place the logo on a busy or photographic background without a solid color backing
  • Minimum logo width: 25mm for print

QR Code:

  • Always test the QR code before printing
  • Link to roundtrips.app (not a tracking URL unless analytics are set up)
  • Include the URL in text below the QR code — not everyone will scan it

Distribution Strategy

  • Hand-deliver to local trades businesses in Central Ohio
  • Leave at supply houses, trade counters, and contractor supply stores
  • Include in any local trade association mailings
  • Give to satisfied early customers to share with peers

Digital One-Pager (Planned)

A PDF one-pager is the standard leave-behind for digital outreach — sent after a demo, included in email campaigns, or downloadable from the website.

Planned Content Structure

Page 1:

  • Hero: Logo + tagline
  • Problem statement: What life looks like without RoundTrip
  • Solution: What RoundTrip does (3-4 core capabilities with icons)
  • Key benefits: 3 specific, measurable outcomes
  • Pricing overview: Starting from $X/month
  • CTA: Start free trial / Book a demo
  • Website + contact

Email Signature Standard (Planned)

All team emails should use a consistent signature. Proposed format:

[Phone if applicable]

Keep it clean — no banners, no multiple logos, no legal disclaimers unless required. A simple, professional signature reflects well on the brand.


Brand Application Checklist

Before finalising any marketing material, run through this checklist:

Colors:

  • Only brand colors used — no off-palette colors
  • Sky (#7EC8E3) not used outside the logo
  • Sufficient contrast for text legibility (WCAG AA minimum)

Typography:

  • Barlow Condensed used only in the wordmark
  • DM Sans for headings, Inter for body
  • No more than 2 typefaces in a single piece

Logo:

  • Correct logo variant used for background
  • Clear space maintained
  • Not distorted, rotated, or modified
  • Logo tested at final print/display size

Copy:

  • Brand voice applied (direct, specific, no jargon)
  • "RoundTrip" capitalised correctly (not "Roundtrip" or "Round Trip")
  • Tagline consistent with approved version
  • No promises made about features that don't exist

Technical:

  • QR codes tested
  • All URLs correct and live
  • Print files exported at correct resolution (300dpi minimum)
  • Digital files optimised for file size
